Steve Hung is a fingerstyle guitarist who was born and raised in Texas, but has been living in the Mid-Atlantic for over a decade. He plays a mixture of folk, blues, and country music, and composes songs as well as instrumentals which showcase his guitar skills. His influences include Chet Atkins, Justin Johnson, Shakey Graves, Ry Cooder, John Fahey, and Leo Kottke.
Pick 'n' Grin (2019) is an acoustic folk and country album, and includes guest musicians from around the DC/Baltimore region. Half the songs are originals, while the other half are remakes of classics such as Folsom Prison Blues, Freight Train, and All You Fascists Are Bound to Lose.
Steve's latest release, Pandemic Blues (2021), serves updated blues that are relevant to our current situation. It is an acoustic and electric blues album which chronicles the events of the 2020 Pandemic. Song topics include the California wildfires, toilet paper shortage, coronavirus, police brutality, hate crimes, stimulus checks, and feelings of isolation during the quarantine.

• AcoustiFest 2020 at Melodee Music Store in Sterling VA. Past performers include Doyle Dykes, Laurence Juber, Woody Mann, and Shaun Hopper. Event was postponed due to covid.
